We had a great time hosting the Saline Food Truck Festival last weekend on July 30, 2023. The sun was out, the weather was beautiful, and 17 food trucks were kind enough to attend and donate money for Saline Area Social Services. If you were one of the almost 2,500 people that took the time to attend, we just want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It was so great to see people gather for this community event!
We want to take the time to thank not only the people who attended but also all of our volunteers, sponsors,
- Blaske and Blaske Law Firm
- The Sharon Hoffmann Insurance
- Ann Arbor Pickleball
- Saline Community Ed
- Unite Community Church
- Hartman Insurance
- Susan Dwornick Mortgage Loan Originator at PNC
- Capital Title
- Kelly Orthodontics
and live entertainment.
- Saline Fiddler’s Philharmonic
- Andy Beningo
- Chris Young
There were so many fun things to do including
- Raffle
- Karaoke
- Bounce houses
- Selfie station
We were able to raise around $2,000 dollars for Saline Area Social Services after the expenses to put on the event were paid. Next year, we have a plan to pare down some things to minimize costs and maximize the donation amount for SASS. But don’t worry, we won’t do anything to reduce the quality of your experience! Our goal for the Saline Food Truck Festival next year is to have 20 trucks, at least 15 sponsors, and indoor seating and restrooms. We will also continue to curate a variety of food trucks for you to accommodate as many different pallets and dietary restrictions as possible. The Saline Food Truck Festival will continue its tradition of being held on the last weekend of July which will be July 28, 2024. Location TBD.
We look forward to continuing to work with the community to help make it a better place to live!
