Our Southeast MI market finished last year slightly ahead in sales and up 9% with prices. Although the Washtenaw and NW markets fell short on sales compared to 2023, they were up between 5% and 9% in both average sale price and price per square foot.
We’re expecting 2025 trends to look much like 2024’s. Although inventory levels are expected to slowly rise, buyers will continue to sift through lots of properties that don’t measure up before battling for a great new listing which does.
Demand that was supercharged by the pandemic remains strong but it’s normalizing over time. Knowing your numbers and shifting market trends will help buyers and sellers have an edge on the competition.
